Sadly my dad's collection was was also dessimated. I'm really just picking from what wasn't sold. I was gutted. Dylan, Petty, Bruce, Steely Dan, Fleetwood Mac, Steve Nicks, early Roxy Music, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Ry Cooder, JJ Cale, Jackson Browne, James Taylor, Def Leppard The Eagles The Beachboys, Paul Simon, Jimmy Buffett, John Hyatt, Yes, Supertramp, Judie Tzuke, Hugh Masekela, Juluka, Little Feat, Rupert Hine, John Prine, Tom Waits, old and new Genesis, Bon Marley, Dave Edmunds, Nick Lowe, Randy Newman, Abba. They're just the artists that come to mind on top of the ones I mentioned above. Edit: The Clash, Big Audio Dynamite, Johnny Cash, Rickie Lee Jones, Beatles, George Harrison, John Lennon, BB King, Joe Jackson, Stevie Winwood, Marshall Crenshaw, Lou Reed, King Crimson.
I was traumatised by their disappearance. And I'm still remembering today which records he had. Every few times I go to a record shop, I'm like... I "know" that cover. Bet Dad had this one too. I used to flick through them all the time as a kid so I have a visual memory of them. If it's cheap I chuck it on the pile and mostly I remember it when I get it home.
