Take out the word impactful then and replace it with meaningful.
I saw Bitter Harvest today. Impressive cinematography for such a tragic history, but the love story in between cushioned the horrors the people endured at that time. This movie was a great visual to me.Throughout my youth my father described to me how his life had changed when he was about 6 years old growing up in the mountains of Ukraine. What happens in this movie happened within the entire country.
Craziest ending to an award show ever!! I'm very happy about the twist ending though.
So pleased for Moonlight. Beautiful film
We watched Paterson and Sing Street on Saturday night.
I liked Paterson but I also thought it was pretty boring. Sing Street was really cute.
I bailed long before the gaffe.
moonlight was an okay movie. not best picture. OR screenplay for that matter.
i saw la la land too...my wife and i both thought "what the fuck was all the hype about?" it was not fucking oscar worthy at all.
a good flick and performance that went under the radar: Miss Sloane w/ Jessica Chastain....fuckin fantastic movie
I will look for Miss Sloane.
I don't agree about Moonlight bc I loved it. I do agree about La La Land and I'm relieved it didn't win as many awards as anticipated. I would have liked to see Lion win something.
I'm so far behind on movies bc I don't go to the theatre to see stuff. Just watched arrival today, totally called the plot twist in the first scene of the movie. Still good though.
Moonlight is next on my list.
Just watched Edge of Seventeen. Really good one. Best teenage movie I've seen in a long time.
Hell or High Water is fantastic. balv, have you seen it?
i didn't want it to end.....
I know it's a bit older, but I watched under the skin Saturday night. I actually really enjoyed it.
why is everyone acting like Logan is the best movie ever?
is it that good?
It's a superhero movie, so...
"When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me."
Just watched Nocturnal Animals.Meh
finally saw Boyhood a few weeks ago...liked it but...didn't think it had that DAMN SON!!! factor...
