I collect primarily colored vinyl. If I had to pick a favorite, it’s not something rare or valuable, but it DOES look like birthday cake, a big passion of mine.

From Left to Right starting at the top:

  1. Shovels & Rope - O Be Joyful - Cream swirl with rainbow accents
  2. The KVB - White Walls/Fixation - Red with black spatter (reminds me of watermelon taffy)
  3. Delta Spirit - History from Below - Coke Bottle Clear
  4. Grouper - Dragging a Dead Deer Up a Hill - Goldenrod Clear
  5. Phoebe Bridgers - Stranger in the Alps - Blue, gold, and black swirl
  6. Pity Sex - White Hot Moon - Pink & Clear swirl
  7. Richard Edwards - Verdugo - Neapolitan Split
  8. Songs: Ohia - Lioness - Dimetapp Purple Clear

These are just highlights, honorable mention to the not pictured Be Forest - Cold repress that looks like a spearmint christmas candy.

but i got a really cool white “evening machines” vinyl
and a RSD springsteen greatest hits red marble colored vinyl

i have some cool collectible picture vinyls of bruce as well…darkness is a cool one

My fake band name is “Moderate Fires” which comes from a DNR sign posted in the lost 40 telling you that you can have moderate fires if you have a permit.

Speaking of Moderate Fires, my spot for morel mushrooms has been totally burnt by the DNR. Maybe they’ll come back strong next year? Perhaps I have already mentioned this.
