Before anyone tries to pin anything else on Ryan, I saw Brad Pemberton two days ago, and he’s fine.
Cardinals unreleased recordings 2006–2007
I was trying to appologise for so plainly stating that misconception. I am not a native English speaker and obviously not one to be trusted with fact-checking (I guess that my hazy memories have been further corrupted after reading about the biterness vented by some of the family members.) But, once again, a horrible and sloppy post that should be killed and killed with fire - truly sorry (and somewhat ashamed).
It’s true, nothing one reads on the internet is ever true. Or is it? Are any of you real? Why the hell have I been living my life according to all the advice on here? Now you tell me!
Not much happening there at all really. It’s almost a ghost town. It’s understandable though. There really isn’t much to discuss. Folks have been discussing this unreleased stuff for ages. It’s either not out there or if it is out there it’s not being shared. Same old, same old. Unless some of this shit turns up…there’s not much else to discuss.
The shoutbox is a cool idea. This is a follow-up question from another thread that I’ve seem to forgotten which thread it is…but have you reconsidered picking up where you quit on WandaVision? I really feel like it got so much better after episode three.
Yes, if more people used it, it would be fun like the good ol’ days of RAA but it looks like I’m the one who’s used it the most… but anyway…
Yes! I did think about watching WandaVision again after you said that it got better and then I forgot all about it! I just checked and the last episode I watched was 4 and that one did get better especially with Jimmy Woo showing up.
I’ve got it and I’ll make sure to watch it when I have the time.
Thanks for reminding me!
This topic got me looking back at the Bedhead Series (Live Fan Compilations). I’m looking for the track list for Bedhead 6 (2006-2007) Disc five only. I’ve tracked everything else down. Just the track list is all I’m seeking. I don’t need a download or anything. Thanks!!
It is quite a challenge to make some sense of the sessions that preceded ET. If I remember correctly, Jamie C (or was it Ryan) said something like that the Cardinals cut about 50 songs in a few days to make a record that would please LH wishes about a Heartbreaker-style album. I guess RAT Classics Vol II could represent about a third of those tracks.
Then, is there a RAT vol I (or is the title a Traveling Wilburys kind of joke?)? And I have also heard about (but not heard-heard) an album called “Color Bars” – which has haunted my dreams ever since – that sounds like it could have been made out of the ET recordings, but that is just wild speculation on my part.
I guess that there are also strong connections with the alleged (and shelved) “Star Wars” and “War & Peace” albums. If anyone also has intel on the connections, including the track-list for “Star Wars” (W&P is on discogs), etc. I would, of course, be very grateful.
Some hidden synapse of mine recalled that I had this saved in my email somewhere:
- Hard Way To Fall
- Twenty Nine
- Jam > Kill the Lights
- City Rain, City Streets
- Hello Gracie
- Ultra Violet Light
- Caribbean Queen (Billy Ocean cover)
- Robot Fuck
- Wasteland
- Everything In Its Right Place (Radiohead cover)
- Dear John “Woody Harrelson’s Larry Flynt on a Bad Trip” remix
- Judy Garland (f/k/a She Turns It Up To Ten)
- No
- “We Are Harmonizing On Something” Jam
- The Wizard (Black Sabbath cover)
- Happy Birthday
- Houses On The Hill (Whiskeytown cover )
- Kisses Star Wars
- Cemetery Hill
- Star Wars
Good thing I’m still reading this site…
my recollection is that track list was never provided nor meant to be because it was all stuff during soundcheck…there’s a fucking stellar and killer version of Houses On The Hill in there.
yep…here ya go:
