Faithless Bird list.


On going bird list for winter bird sightings/pictures of our bird nerds. Hopefully I am not the only one. :confused: :bird:

Carolina Wren
Wood Dove
Canada Goose


We have a bunch of sandhill cranes (or blue herons, I’m never quite sure) around here. They can be pretty noisy. I heard an owl the other night too.

Sandhills a really pretty bird. 30,000 flew over Chicago in a single day this week. Only see them rarely in migration here. Thanks for the video look!

Hit the Middle Mississippi River National Wildlife Refuge. Very cold rainy afternoon, but saw some birds. Hopefully will go back next week and get some pictures.

Pileated woodpeckers are awesome. I see and hear them every summer when I go up north.

We mainly see bald eagles and osprey out here. My kid laughs because me and her Dad freak the fuck out when we see one.


This hawk was on my balcony a couple of years ago, but still lives in the area. Saw her Saturday circling the neighbourhood.
