Sigur Ros is coming to America this Summer. I have definitely never seen them.
They’re coming to the Louisville Palace! And we just joined their mailing list to get a pre-sale code, and after throwing back 6-7 sets of seats that weren’t that good, I scored the sweetest spot in the place! Front row of the Balcony!! OMG!
It’s really going to be something special.

I’ve been to The Palace many times, but only ever sat front row of the balcony once before, and it was the 2 very end seats on the right, and it was for Ryan solo acoustic with Isbell solo acoustic opening.
Incredible sound in that place, from up there especially.

#11

looks magical.

does a gold specked talking unicorn usher you to your seats?

#12

most definitely.

#13

I really want to go to that Sigur Ros show.

#14

you want the presale code?

We’re going to Nashville this year for New Year’s Eve to see Widespread Panic at the big arena there. We’re also seeing them the night before, the 30th. On the 29th they’re doing a benefit at The Ryman that we tried to get tickets for but got shut out. We already had a hotel booked for 3 nights, so I went in search of another show to catch on the 29th. I’m usually not one for cover bands, but members of The Black Crowes involved in any project gets my attention. The list of musicians involved has grown a lot since we bought the tickets a few months ago too! check this out:

Move swiftly if you would like to see Craig Finn play one of his shows in fans’ living rooms or at least very small venues

Zeppelin tribute I posted about above was pretty awesome. there was no Rich Robinson and I guess he was never supposed to be a part of it, but based on what I read in post above it sure sounded like he was going to be there!! He was my biggest draw, so in that sense I was a little disappointed…but great time, really unique experience and I’m very happy we went.

Tonight and tomorrow night we end the year with Widespread Panic. Many guests are expected tonight!! I am hoping Isbell may be one of those guests. He’s playing in town on NYE tomorrow, and he did open a show for Panic this summer and came out and played with them.
Regardless though tonight and tomorrow will be very special shows!!

Hope everyone has a great New Year’s Eve out there! xo
