Picture of the day!
Thereās an annual event not far from where I live called āThe Rattlesnake Roundupā. Iāve never attended the event. But, I guess the participants compete to see who can catch the most rattlesnakes. And most everyone in attendance gets pretty drunk on cheap beer. Itās a white trash thing. Iām not looking down on it. Iām uneducated white trash myself.
Hereās my Neighborhood Basketball Association jersey. I designed it with a rattlesnake as our mascot.
Designed as a reversible shirt so the neighborhood ladies couldnāt gawk at us when we played shirts and skins.
Interesting! We have flowers in Japan that are also called spider lilies (lycoris radiata) but theyāre different from yours. They come in white and yellow, also.
From wiki:
Lycoris radiata, known as the red spider lily, red magic lily, or equinox flower, is a plant in the amaryllis family, Amaryllidaceae, subfamily Amaryllidoideae. Originally from China, Korea, and Nepal, it was introduced into Japan and from there to the United States and elsewhere.

I would LOVE to!
But sadly COVID prevents me from traveling at the moment.
We canāt even go to our home in Hawaiiā¦
