There’s an annual event not far from where I live called ā€œThe Rattlesnake Roundupā€. I’ve never attended the event. But, I guess the participants compete to see who can catch the most rattlesnakes. And most everyone in attendance gets pretty drunk on cheap beer. It’s a white trash thing. I’m not looking down on it. I’m uneducated white trash myself.

#1695

They do that in Sweetwater, TX. I went to one a long time ago. It was weird.

Here’s my Neighborhood Basketball Association jersey. I designed it with a rattlesnake as our mascot.

Designed as a reversible shirt so the neighborhood ladies couldn’t gawk at us when we played shirts and skins.

Interesting! We have flowers in Japan that are also called spider lilies (lycoris radiata) but they’re different from yours. They come in white and yellow, also.
From wiki:
Lycoris radiata, known as the red spider lily, red magic lily, or equinox flower, is a plant in the amaryllis family, Amaryllidaceae, subfamily Amaryllidoideae. Originally from China, Korea, and Nepal, it was introduced into Japan and from there to the United States and elsewhere.
