Just to clarify - I’m not sick with COVID or anything like that. Leaving Japan and coming back in is still a real hassle at the moment. Most of Japan is still unvaccinated because of the government’s slow (and messed up) vaccination distribution process.

Have you been before? Seems every year they get an incredible lineup.

I’ve not been, I’m not much a festival person. But they do always get local bands in there, so that is a cool thing; I’ve had friends get in to play. Also always lots of good major acts.
