David Lindley

This one really makes me sad. One of my all time favorites.

His first two records are a couple albums I still listen to quite a bit. His work with Jackson Brown, Warren Zevon and Ry Cooder is legendary. One of the best slide guitar players around and he could play anything he touched.

This year sucks.

The Jackson Browne and Warren Zevon stuff is embedded in my brain. Didnā€™t know he was on the Trio album. Got to see him with Wally Ingram around 15 years ago in a small setting. We were right up against the stage. He played like a madman.
