I love wind farms. There is something spacey about them.

#129

I just picked up a Nikon D5200 with a bunch of extras on the cheap and it’s brand new. Im going to a burlesque show this weekend abd they’ve agreed to let me shoot it. I’ll post picks up when I can!

#130

A new camera!! How exciting! I’ll bet you can’t wait to try it out!!!
Will be looking forward to your pictures!

Out of curiosity, what kind of extras did you get??

#131

Prime lenses, a battery grip, speedlight, backpack…

#132

Nice!! What’s the focal length on the prime lenses?

What’s your favorite/most used prime lens, btw?

#133

50mm 70-200mm & 18-300mm

I think the 18-300mm will be my go to lens.

#134

Never mind all that, did you say a burlesque show?! :sunglasses:

#135

18-300mm sounds very versatile.

Nikon 18-300mm F3.5-6.3G ED VR or Nikon 18-300mm F3.5-5.6G ED VR?

#136

do you do funerals?

#137

3.5-6.3

#138

But that’s fine. I read up about lenses allot and most people say there isn’t much of a difference except for about $220 more for the 5.5

#139

And the 3.5-6.3 weighs less than the 3.5-5.6.
Lighter gear is always a good thing! :+1:t2:

#140

So, the updated D5200 is more advanced and I’m going to have to actually read the manual…

#141

Ha! New camera, new controls and user interface = new stuff to learn!

The user interface looks very cool!

"The three virtual dials in the ‘graphic’ interface are all animated, and ‘turn’ onscreen when you change a setting. As you can see, the iris closes down too."
