Watching Elvis:The searcher

Very good

Watched this one last night.
Kind of silly but fun.

Where is that streaming?

The Guralnick two volume bio is a master class in music bio writing.

it’s on hbo

it’s quite good.

watched it twice. once w/ my kids and once w/ my bro’s

I don’t know if I’d watch again anytime soon but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be.

They filmed this on Oahu. Kevin Hart was standing right next to me at Neiman Marcus and I had no idea it was him. My SA told me who it was after he’d left.

One of my favorite scenes from the movie:

Saw Nico '88 the other day, about the last two years of Velvet underground’s Nico. Excellent film, the lead actress, Trine Dyrholm, sings her songs and she does a great job (maybe even better than Nico did).

Watched this last night because Jemaine Clement is in it. Cute movie.

Blue

I loved this. Garry Shandling is one of my favorites.

For some reason I was looking around Amazon and saw this listing.

Look at that price! Luckily I made copies of the discs when it was available through Netflix. It’s still one of my favorite shows ever.

$1999.99!!! That’s outrageous.

I never watched that show or really knew too much about him. So sad that his brother’s death impacted him so much for the rest of his life. And so cool that he was friends with Tom Petty! I’d like to go back and see some of his stand up and watch the shows.

It was a great documentary.

You are missing out. It’s wonderful and it still holds up today.

Saw The Rider a couple days ago, still get a little weepy when I think about it. Masterpiece.

This IMDB description makes it sound like Jordan Peterson wrote it. He didn’t.

What’s your opinion of Jordan Peterson?

Who the fuck is Jordan peepeeterson

A male chauvinist pig.

If Happyhead were here he’d post Joost’s 12 rules for Life
