The Movie Thread

Really? I was going to skip it because the trailer made it look kind of corny.
But if you liked it Rodknee, I’ll watch it. :sunglasses:

“Bitch please, you’ve been to space”

I love Happy!

#970

For sure it has some corny stuff
But no worse than marvel or DC stuff
It’s got a great 80’s nostalgia corny feel to it
And that is good!

#971

I’ll definitely check it out.
Thanks!

#972

We just took Steve’s mom to this. It was really cute and funny!

#973

This was excellent. Frustrating, uplifting, funny.

This was pretty cool too. Short with some new info about RJ. Cool interviews too.

#974

thinking about the new xmen movie

#975

We saw Rocketman last weekend. It was good but not great. Not as good as I was hoping it would be. It was too much of a musical for my liking but the acting was good. Still worth seeing though.

#976

It has the lowest Rotten Tomatoe number of the franchise. Was deemed bad and unnecessary. I’m a huge comic book nerd from a young age and I don’t plan to watch this.

#977

bummer. i really loved the 1st two
and of course, the logan spin offs

#978

I think Thor Ragnarok is my favorite of ALL of them.

#979

My favorite superhero is Amelie.

#980

Who?

#981

Just watched this for the first time since I saw it in the theater a few years ago. It’s a great and really crazy movie.

#982

I just watched Juliet, Naked.
I loved it. :grinning:

#983

We watched a couple of random movies tonight:

And one of the cheesy 80’s movies I loved as a kid. Steve had never seen it and I hadn’t seen it in a really long time:

#984

yikes.

#985

It’s pretty funny.

#986

I watched the Last Airbender. Yes, you read that right.

I think the movie is perfectly fine for kids 10 or below. Mine loved it. I think that film got a bad rap because it was fun for critics to make fun of child actors and Shamalayan-ading-dong.

We are huge fans of the animated series. If you liked the movie, watch the series. It’s so much better.
