Your Favorite 5 albums from the year you graduated high school

Can’t remember much. Hazy days, so to say. But I do know this came out that year… I think…

Learning to Cope with Cowardice-Mark Stewart

Rolling Stones - Still Life

Pete Townsend - All The Best Cowboys Have Chinese Eyes

  1. Cafe Tacuba - Reves/Yo Soy
  2. The Roots- Things Fall Apart
  3. Tom Waits- Mule Variations
  4. Sigur Ros- Agaetis Byrjun
  5. Beck- Midnite Vultures

Oops… Drinking

Ha! I thought it was deliberate.

It’s weird… I go to edit it and it was actually done the right way (Beck being #1)

You started with 5 like you meant to. Just got sidetracked. :+1:t2:

jesus, don’t you people ever get tired of making me feel old?

I wanted to just say RAMONES motherfuckers! It’s all that mattered to me at the time, but I decided to play along.

1 - Ramones
2- Flaming Groovies - Shake Some Action
3 - Warren Zevon - S/T
4 - Patti Smith - Radio Ethiopia
5 - Blue Oyster Cult - Agents Of Fortune

This is 1976.

5? Can’t just do 5, had to delete some to get to the list below. Built to Last, and Dylan and the Dead came out by the Grateful Dead that year. Not their best stuff in my opinion, but love Standing on the moon… it did not redeem the album though.

Paul’s Boutique Beastie Boys
Don’t Tell a Soul The Replacements
101 Depeche Mode Live double album
Doolittle Pixies
Pretty Hate Machine Nine Inch Nails
Disintegration The Cure
Blind Man’s Zoo 10,000 Maniacs
I Enjoy Being a Girl Phranc
Two Highways Alison Krauss & Union Station
Mother’s Milk Red Hot Chili Peppers
Oh Mercy Bob Dylan
Freedom Neil Young

I am hoping there will be some sort of Freedom 30th anniversary release this year.

Seems unlikely. He reportedly bumped the release of Homegrown this year because of the new album with Crazy Horse.
